FDCI announces 14 shortlisted models for India Couture Week 2016

New Delhi, July 2, 2016: Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) conducted #Getnoticedfemale model auditions for the upcoming India Couture Week, 2016. The models who were judged on the basis of poise, confidence and elegance after a nation-wide search, will add pizzazz to five days of pure grandeur.

The eminent jury compriseace choreographers Anu Ahuja, ArpanaBahl, Asha Kochhar and Vidyun Singhand prestigious names from the fashion fraternity Gaurav Gupta and Manav Gangwani, who shortlisted 14 beautiful faces, to walk the ramp at the upcoming edition of FDCI India Couture Week 2016.

Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, "FDCI brings together the finest talent from all over the country whether it's designing, choreography, styling orthe world of modelling.We are revealing the most beautiful and talented faces, to showcase stunning creations by our veteran designers this season. This year, too, the bar is set high as they were judged by an esteemed jury."

New Delhi, July 07, 2016: Fashion Design Council of India today announced the show schedule for the upcoming FDCI India Couture Week 2016. The country’s biggest style extravaganza is set to showcase the best couturiers in the industry through 10 shows. The ICW2016 will be held from July 20- July 24, 2016, at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, said, “The five-day fiesta will be a spectacle of ebullient ensembles, grand sets and riveting concepts as well as off-site shows, by leading designers. It will be a tribute to luxury and will pen a new story of grandeur in keeping with the aesthetics of Indian traditions.”
