PERFECT HOME OR NOT?

  1. As a housewife, which would you say is your greatest fault:
  2. Over-concern?
    Forgetfulness?
    Just bad management?
  3. To the best of your knowledge, how many times have children – not your own – begged their parents to be allowed to stay with you again:
    More than once?
    They may have done occasionally?
    Don’t really know?
  4. When you your self are away from home, which do you miss most:
Your sense of being in your own home?
    Your own cooking?
    Your own home routine?

  5. Do your children refer to the homes of their friends:
Usually in a way that suggests they are glad they live where they do?
Mostly out of normal curiosity or interest, without envy?
Generally to emphasise the shortcomings of their own home?

  6. Do you find the members of your family like best to:
Come and go, relax or entertain as they please?
Spend a good deal of time at home?
Go out as much as they can?

  7. Which comes first in your house:
    Cleanliness?
    Tidiness?
    Punctuality?
  8. When your children bring in friends en masse do you work hardest at:
    Treating them naturally?
    Entertaining them?
    Keeping the place intact?

  9. Truthfully, now, which of these are you most noted for in your circles of family and friends:
    Your hospitality?
    Your appetising meals?
    Your individuality as a housewife?

  10. When your husband bring a friend or acquaintance home unexpectedly, is your first thought:
    How do I look?
What on earth can I give them?
    Aren’t we in mess?

  11. When your husband refers to ‘home’, does he:
Always mean the home he shares with you?
Interchanges the two meanings so that an outsider might not be sure which household he meant?
Sometimes he means his parent’s home?
